My Top 10 Fall Must Haves

• Beret Hat – These soft, rounded, wool or crocheted cotton, flat-brimmed hats are perfect for the fall season. These fabulous military styled brims have been a fashion statement across Europe since they first came on the seen in the 19th century. I happen to own quite a few of them. They work well on both short and long hair heads. 

• Pea Coat – There is really not much to say about the fabulous pea coat. It expresses nothing less than sophistication. Not to mention its forgiving silhouette. It works well on any and all body types. 

•  Gold Statement Necklace – Fall is all about warm tones and palettes. So what more to bring out those warm tones more than a gold statement necklace right? The great thing about a gold statement necklace is that the neutral composition carries just the right amount of warmth and shimmer to even out any outfit. 

• Tan Knee High Boots – Having a neutral color like a softer brown is the perfect neutralizer to any fall ensemble. Fall is all about warm and neutralizing colors. However, this doesn’t mean that you should shy away from bolder colors. Neutral color boots can provide the perfect balance to a colorful ensemble. I love to wear color in the fall and neutralize it with tans and browns.

• Tortoise Sunglasses – These vintage style frames have evolved since their original  inception in the1970s where they were once made of real hawksbill turtle shell. Today this classic frame has transformed into something fabulous over the years. They complement fall fashion perfectly.

• Red Nail Polish – I always like to remind ladies that nail polish is certainly an accessory. When I want to add just a small touch of boldness to my look, I look no further to bold nail polish, especially red. Red is that fashionably fabulous color that can practically go with anything. 

•  Red Lipstick – The same as red nail polish. It’s an accessory and a great way to add a splash of color to your look. One of my favorite things to do is to pair red lips with with a red clutch or red pumps. 

• Classic Brown Handbag – I thrifted (you guys know that I’m the thrift queen…LOL) a fabulous Louis Vuitton handbag recently. It’s one of those staples that is a great and classic investment. While it certainly doesn’t have to be a LV or any other luxury brand, investing in a quality brown and black handbag is practically all you really need in the handbag department.

• Leopard Scarf – I mean what better way to make a statement than leopard right? There is so much you can do with a scarf (look forward to my upcoming 20 ways to rock a scarf post). I mean you can wear it as a headpiece, a belt, a pussy-bow, etc.
