It’s been a lazy Sunday for me and I’m having zero shame and guilt about it. LOL. I’m running on approximately 3 hours of sleep. It was a rough night for the hubby and I last night. My four year old had an asthmatic episode that practically kept us up all night. He is having a much better day today. I hope you all are having a blessed one. I practically did nothing today but get caught up on reading my stacks of magazines that I’m two months behind on, got a little closer on finishing up this fabulous vintage inspired dress I’m working on and sipped on a mimosa or two.

DIY Project

Here are a couple pics of the dress that I’m working on. I didn’t use a pattern for this project so it’s taking me a little longer to finish; along with the fact that I’m really not motivated to sew like I once was (trying to figure out what’s my deal). But I think it’s coming along nicely. I purchased this home decor fabric a few months back and immediately fell in love with the texture and color. 

Fashion Event

I will be attending a fun and fabulous fashion event on Jan 19th in Lakeland, Florida. If you are in the central Florida area, make sure to come out and kick it with me. The event is a Walk This Way Productions event which is spearheaded by two fabulous sisters whom I have great respect and admiration for. Angela and LaWanda Bailey produces fashion events throughout the year, but the beauty of these fabulous ladies struts far beyond the catwalk.
