The Fashion Movement held its 2nd annual Eye on Fashion: A Stylist Competition on Saturday, May 3rd in Tampa, FL at The Vault. Four very talented Fashion Stylist competed in an event that I’d like to refer to as a one-of-a-kind. The competition, a platform for Wardrobe/Fashion Stylists to promote, market and establish their brands is certainly capturing the attention of many local and national fashion enthusiast; and rightfully so. The four Stylists competed for a grand prize of $550 and a spread in Revized Magazine. The Stylists presented various looks to an independent panel of judges who chose the winner based on the total scoring in various point categories. Faheema Safa, Melizza Williams, Ify By Bobi, Tristan Richards and Styled by Jada curated a series of 5 looks that captivated the crowd throughout the night–but unfortunately there could only be one winner. The event brought many of the Bay area’s fashion insiders together; from designers, models, bloggers and fashion hopefuls and enthusiasts. With live woodwind instrumentals from Saxaphonist Marlone Boone, exceptional cuisine from Felix Catering, fine chocolates from Victoria Richards and a variety of skillfully concocted spirits and beverages, it was a magnificent evening of style.
