This year marked the 40th anniversary of the iconic fashion staple—the DVF wrap dress. Birth into existence in 1974 by none other than the queen of wrap dresses, Diane Von Furstenberg. For decades, women all over the world quickly turned to this chic, comfy and feminine silhouette as their go to fashion choice. There is no secret that many other designers and mass fashion retailers have infiltrated the wrap dress market, but there is a clear and obvious reason why DVF has managed to keep an exclusive market share. From her luxurious jersey fabric choices to the vibrant colors and prints, the DVF brand has personified the signature and classic staple that many of us have loved for years.
