Ever looked at a particular handbag and wondered the type of style? Well, look no further, I’ve got you covered with a guide to seven most popular handbag style and types. All of these style types serve a particular functional need. I usually gravitate to smaller handbags being of petite stature; but I’ve recently taken on a liking to satchels. I purchased my very first crossbody bag a few years ago. Many handbags usually come with an extra strap for flexible wear, but a crossbody bag is designed solely to be worn across the body. I love them especially when I’m on the go and don’t really want the hassle of keeping up with a clutch, satchel or shoulder bag. A crossbody bag is perfect for running errands and to take with you on vacation while visiting tourist destinations.
I think my least favorite bag type is the hobo bag. While I do own a fabulous hobo,— because of the shape—everything tend to gravitate to the bottom of the bag making it difficult to organize and find things when needed. When I think of a tote, I think of the teacher who has loaded all of her monthly lesson plans within as she carries it to and from school. So, my fellow bag ladies—-which is your favorite bag to carry?
