So you guys know that I’m always looking for new and fabulous places to dine. I recently stumbled upon this uber chic and amazing contemporary Mexican restaurant in Tampa. Nestled on the south perimeter of the Westshore Mall, this upscale cantina offers many classics with a contemporary twist. From freshly made guacamole to deliciously potent sangria. The daily specials are as creative as the interior and exterior decor. My favorite dish on the menu? The budin de mariscos; a tortilla pie of shrimp and jumbo lump crab, spiced tomato salsa, queso Chihuahua, poblano cream sauce and pico de gallo. Heavenly yummy! But holy moly…can we talk about desserts? The tres leches is a stone cold killer. And I do mean that in every single good way possible. I’m extremely funny about my Mexican—- but Besito nails it, every single time. I just hope that they stay consistent. Hasta aquí todo bien.
