Summer has come and gone. I’m not happy about it. Actually, just a tad bit. This summer was exceptionally brutal for us Floridians. We experienced 100 degree temps on many days. I hadn’t experienced those kind of temps since spending time in Phoenix, AZ. I spent most of my summer days either poolside or at the beach. My favorite place to be in the world (the beach). Today I’m sharing with you 5 great beaches in the United States and its territories. Yep. No passport needed. Simply take a drive or book your flight and visit some of the best beaches on American soil.
- Trunk Bay, US Virgin Islands. It is simply amazing. Nestled in a remote location on the Caribbean island of St. John, this beach happens to be my absolute favorite beach in the US. I’m actually standing on Trunk Bay in the photo above.
- Manela Bay, Hawaii. Hulopo’e Beach on the island of Lana’i has been considered on the best beaches in America. Known for the best snorkeling and diving, this is one to add to your bucket list.
- Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. There are plenty of great beach locales on the East Coast and Myrtle Beach is certainly one of them. With pristine white sand, water parks, restaurants and live entertainment, this beach has lots of action in the summertime.
- Clearwater Beach, Florida. This tourist haven boasts white sand and blue skies. Living in the area, I frequent Clearwater Beach quite often. I love the countless restaurants, parasailing and beach volleyball opportunities.
- Venice Beach, California. A one-of-a-kind experience when visiting Southern California. The people, the personalities, the shops and the excitement. Did I say the people? Lawd. It’s an experience. There’s absolutely no beach like it.
Would love to know what’s your favorite beach spot(s)?
