Designer Watch: Twentyfour20

Plus size Model and Fashion Designer Allison McGevna of Twentyfour20 is certainly making moves within the plus size industry. The Model turn Fashion Designer recently conducted a photo shoot on the sunny island of Puerto Rico where she collaborated with Jewelry Designer Suzanne Ujaque; whose pieces complimented McGevna's fabulous and sexy Twentyfour20 dresses perfectly. What's the inspiration behind McGevna's Twentyfour20 line? She says that the line was founded on the basis that women of all sizes and shapes deserves access to sexy and fabulous fashion without limitations. 2013 Recap: My Best Dressed Female Celeb

It girl Lupita Nyong’o has catapulted to the top of the fashion game since she graced the screen perfecting her character Patsey in the movie 12 Years a Slave. Rightfully so. Lupita has a sleek athletic build, gorgeous facial structure and silky smooth skin, making it pretty easy to flawlessly pull off every look. She has graced the red carpets with such an effortless air of sophistication that is certainly hard to go unnoticed. Styled mainly by Fashion Stylist Micaela Erlanger, Erlanger has perfected the ability to highlight and accentuate Lupita's beauty by selecting the right colors and silhouettes.  I think we will see lots more from the Yale School of Drama-educated actress in 2014. Your Clothing Donations: Goodwill or Ill Will?

Although I'm one who loves to scourer local thrift and consignment stores for fabulous vintage and hi-end finds; I also believe in donating to the cause. With the holiday season in full swing, many families in need often turn to charity organizations like Goodwill, The Red Cross, Salvation Army and the likes as an economical way to provide for their loved ones. Recently, I've noticed quite a few clothing drop boxes throughout the city and often wondered where the clothing items will ultimately end up. Well the truth seeker in me found the answer.
