Fab Collabo: Isabel Marant for H&M

H&M, the Swedish mega-chain retail store will be launching its collaborative collection with the Parisan designer Isabel Marant. Marant, widely known for her popular wedge high-top sneakers will bring a collection that highlights her signature design traits, with touches of black, charcoal, and gray, with hints of white and red. These pieces will be created for women and teenagers. You can find fabulous pieces from $14.99 to $399.00. The collection launches tomorrow, November 14th at select store locations. New Yorkers will have the opportunity to stop by the Time Square store for a fun filled day as the store is expected to open tomorrow at 8:00am EST where Lady Gaga will perform the honorary ribbon cutting. Meet & Greet Recap

  On Sunday, the Fashionably Fabulous Kala of thekglifestyle.com and I hosted  a meet & greet event at the White Wolf Cafe (if you are ever in Orlando you must stop in at this awesome restaurant) in Orlando, Florida. We enjoyed the company of a wonderful group of women from the central Florida area and Michigan. We enjoyed mimosas and great food while chatting about fashion, dating, natural hair, business, family and all things important in life. Photography: My Other Love

So you guys pretty much know that I am an avid lover of fashion, music and food. But did you know that I also love the art of photography? While I have no desire to become a professional photograpHER, I do believe that photography is essential in capturing life's precious moments. Three years ago my hubby gifted me a DSLR for Christmas along with a Photography 101 class at the local Ritz Camera. It was an awesome and worthy investment. I still have so much to learn but what I've learned thus far is paramount to where I've come in these short three years. DIY Maxi Dress: Palm Beach Chic

When I discovered this fabulous fabric last summer on a trip to Los Angeles--- I had not a single clue what I was going to make with it. I always purchase three yards of fabric in the event that I don't have a particular project in mind at the time of purchase. It wasn't until a good six months later that the idea of a vintage Lilly Pulitzer inspired maxi came to mind. Living in Florida, maxis are perfect for almost any occasion.
