I couldn't help myself but to write a brief write-up on Rick Owens' Paris Fashion Week SS 2014 show this week. As his models ripped the runway wearing his clean and free-flowing silhouettes, they brought an aspect of African American college Greek culture that is far from the par of the expected runway strut. It was bold. It was unorthodox. It was risky. It was captivating. The ladies from Washington Divas, Soul Steppers, The Momentums and The Zetas certainly captivated the audience in a performance none could have probably imagined.
