Designer Buki Ade's latest Bfyne Swimwear collection is something to seriously talk about. The Nigerian born creative is redefining culture, influence and design in the world of swimwear. The collection fuses geo-prints, contemporary craftsmanship and African influence with mere perfection. But can we just talk about the advertising campaign for this collection? Happy Friday Beauties! I hope that your new year is off to an amazing start. As I reflect back on 2016 there were many wins, but there were also some (perceived) losses. And sometimes what we see as a lost can sometimes be an actual gain in the grand scheme of things. One thing is for certain---life should be lived with purpose. Life should be lived with intention. Olivier Rousteing, the 20-something phenom and Creative Director of the French luxury brand, BALMAIN recently announced his designer/retail collaboration with the budget-friendly retail giant H&M. He says, "I want to talk to my generation: this is my main aim as a designer. Haute 2014: Opening Night Style Mixer

Haute Accessory Week 2014 kicked off with an opening night style mixer event at Spain restaurant in downtime Tampa. Industry insiders had the chance to get up and personal with many of the accessory designers, models and bloggers who came out to support this annual event. Special shout out to my blogger friend and colleague Farrah of Estrella Fashion Report for capturing these awesome photos.
