It’s a Wrap: A DVF Milestone

This year marked the 40th anniversary of the iconic fashion staple---the DVF wrap dress. Birth into existence in 1974 by none other than the queen of wrap dresses, Diane Von Furstenberg. For decades, women all over the world quickly turned to this chic, comfy and feminine silhouette as their go to fashion choice.  Hi Fashionably Fab Friends. . . . . . . . . So I stepped away this weekend to attend a sewing and fashion conference hosted by the Fashionably Fabulous Mimi G. of Mimi G. Style. Breaking Free: Fashion With a Cause

Visions of Hope International, dedicated to educating, inspiring, and motivating against domestic violence--held its first benefit fashion show on Friday, July 11th at the Club Renaissance in Sun City, Florida. Supporters of the cause attended the first annual semi-formal event in style. The event which centered around six beautiful domestic violence survivors and their journey in breaking free from the past--- included a night of good spirits, silent auction, gourmet dinner, live entertainment and a fabulous fashion show. The ladies ripped the runway to model fashions sponsored by local businesses.
