It's very rear that I find a luxury and/or couture designer whose style and design aesthetic align with mine. But when I discovered Ronald van der Kemp, the Dutch designer whose effortless ability to fuse modern vintage perfectly from a demi-couture and ready-to-wear perspective---I became an instant fan. From the peplums, ruffles and defined waistlines: van der Kemp seemingly loves what he does and it shows. Asked to describe his style is three words, he said---"free-spirited, sentimental and quirky." Rightfully so.
